Position
The pharmaceutical production site in Haarlem is looking for a motivated Quality Control Technician to strengthen the team. As part of the Quality Control Analytical Laboratory, you will be responsible for performing critical analyses to ensure the quality of products. This includes conducting routine tests on samples during both the production process and the final product, according to established analysis protocols and within specified time limits. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling results that deviate from or fall outside specifications according to our quality management system. Your tasks also include writing, reviewing, and approving test results, adhering to company policies and regulations, and actively participating in complex problem-solving and root cause analyses. Furthermore, you will perform first-line troubleshooting of laboratory equipment. This position requires working in a 24/7 shift pattern.
Profile
- mlo+ / hlo / (Bachelor’s degree) in Analytical Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or equivalent experience
- knowledge and experience with the use of pharmacopoeia methods
- previous experience in a pharmaceutical environment
- experience with analytical techniques such as UPLC/HPLC, TOC, and PSD
- knowledge of pharmaceutical quality systems and production processes, with preference for experience working under GMP
- strong analytical mindset
- result-oriented team player with a strong can-do mentality
- proficient in English or Dutch (both spoken and written)
