Position
As a Mechanical Engineer, you are responsible for improving both the production equipment and processes. You design and construct improvements and custom shielding to enhance the safety, efficiency, and reliability of the process and materials. Additionally, you serve as a point of contact for mechanical inquiries and coordinate the activities of contractors within your area of work. When resolving mechanical issues and implementing improvements, you collaborate closely with the radiation protection unit to ensure safety. Furthermore, you support and lead audits and inspections, new projects, conduct change assessments, and manage technical drawings for the site, including P&Ids.
Profile
- mbo or hbo degree with 4-6 working experience and with proven track record within Mechanical Engineering
- minimum level of radiological training: supervisor radiation protection (dispersible radioactive substances D) or willing to follow this training (training takes approximately 3 months)
- preferably 3+ years of working experience within (pharmaceutical) GMP and/or radioisotope manufacturing
- attention to safety, able to work in an organized and structured manner through protocols and standards
- experience as a key user for Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- attention to detail, ability to look at the process through the eye of the end-user as well as an Engineer
- full-time position with 80% on-site presence
