Technical Key Account Manager – MAT

Position

As Technical Key Account Manager – MAT, you are responsible for driving the international commercial growth of Essange’s MAT portfolio. You develop and strengthen strategic customer relationships within the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industry and support customers in the adoption of MAT solutions across global markets.

This is a highly visible, customer-facing role combining technical sales, strategic account management and scientific consultancy. You identify commercial opportunities, manage long-term partnerships and translate complex scientific concepts into commercially relevant solutions for customers.

Working closely with pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors and internal teams across sales, marketing, R&D and manufacturing, you play a key role in expanding Essange’s global market position. As MAT adoption continues to accelerate worldwide due to evolving regulations around animal-free pyrogen testing, you will contribute directly to Essange’s international commercial growth strategy.

With this being a newly created role, you will have significant ownership and the opportunity to shape the position and make a visible impact on the organisation’s future growth.

Profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Life Sciences-related field;
  • Strong scientific background in immunology, cell-based assays or related technologies;
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in technical sales, key account management or business development within pharma, biotech or diagnostics;
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience in negotiations and strategic customer relationships;
  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into commercial solutions;
  • Established network within the pharmaceutical and/or IVD industry is a strong advantage;
  • Excellent communication skills in English and willingness to travel internationally regularly.
