Position

As QA Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance function of a complex logistics and distribution operation within a highly regulated healthcare environment. You ensure that all warehousing, distribution and product finishing activities comply with applicable GMP, GDP, ISO, MDR, FDA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.

You develop, implement and continuously improve the Quality Management System and oversee key quality processes, including document management, change control, validation, software quality assurance, training, product disposition, complaint handling, product recalls, auditing, CAPA management, quality metrics and management review.

In this role, you provide leadership to a team of five Quality Assurance professionals, ensuring high performance, employee development and a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement. You balance operational priorities while maintaining regulatory compliance and business continuity.

You act as the primary quality representative for the site and work closely with internal stakeholders, international business partners, customers and regulatory authorities. You play a leading role during inspections and audits and proactively translate changing legislation into effective quality programs and procedures.

Operational Excellence is an important part of the role. You identify opportunities to optimise processes, reduce quality risks, improve efficiency and support business growth while safeguarding product quality throughout the entire supply chain.

Profile

• bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related discipline
• minimum of 10 years of Quality Assurance experience within a GMP and/or GDP regulated environment, including leadership responsibilities
• extensive knowledge of GMP, GDP, ISO, MDR, FDA, HACCP and applicable quality and regulatory requirements
• experience within logistics, warehousing, supply chain, manufacturing or distribution environments
• proven experience with Quality Management Systems, validation, CAPA, audits and continuous improvement initiatives
• strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills across all organisational levels
• analytical, decisive and able to drive change within a complex international organisation
• fluent in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
