Position

As a Method Validation Engineer, you ensure that the compliance of all QC related equipment, systems and

methods comply with registered specification, cGMP, good laboratory practices and company standards. You will contribute in the development of analytical methods and the validation thereof. You will act as Project Manager and as Subject Matter Expert in all related validation activities. Furthermore you will coordinate validation and qualification activities for analytical methods to be performed in the QC department. Your main task will be to act as a Subject Matter Expert in setting the requirements and specifications of analytical methods and related QC applications. You will execute validation testing for analytical methods and communicate needs and opportunities for the improvement of devices / software / methods conform GMP requirements and needs of the customer. It is also your responsibility to ensure analytical methods are compliant to current GMP-requirements and legislations. You support the development of the analytical methods, or update of current methods, conform current GMP requirements and legislations. Last you will support the creation of related work instructions and procedures.

Profile

• bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or Food Technology or equivalent scientific education
• 4+ years of experience as a senior QC Operator or Validation Engineer in a high-tech production environment
• excellent knowledge of good laboratory practices and cGMP
• experience in Project Management
• analytical mind-set and eye for detail
• open to new technologies and continuous improvement behaviour
• open and clear collaboration and communication with third parties
• shows the appropriate sense of urgency around given tasks
• fluent in English, both verbal and written
