Position

As Procurement Manager you are responsible for the site procurement activities from category management, contract implementation and supplier management, in accordance with the Global Procurement Policy and Standards. You will build and extend relationships with internal and external stakeholders for the development and improvement of defined categories in line with business requirements, optimizing security of supply, which contributes to business profitability and cash flow. You will Identify, develop, and implement improved supply initiatives to deliver sustainable value, appropriate quality and service and a secure, safe cost effective and ethical supply base. You will focus on delivering best practice results and a competitive advantage to the company and you contribute to managing the sourcing cycle, bringing in breakthrough ideas and best-in-class approaches.

You will develop, support and implement all tactical and strategical procurement projects held locally and globally and you will execute the outcome of category strategies and sourcing action plans to effective implementation and value realization. Of course, you will coach the team of stakeholders to successfully execute the procurement strategy to ensure the continuity of the procurement processes.

You will provide subject matter expertise related to local and regional market conditions, technologies, and services to support the global procurement team with risk management and decision making. You will work closely with internal stakeholders e.g. MS&T, Engineering, Facilities, Supply Chain etc to develop and implement local and regional sourcing strategy and you will deliver an exceptional cost and budget management strategy aligned with global targets.

 

Profile

  • or MSc. degree in Business, Science, or related field such as Supply Chain Management, Operations, Purchasing, Finance, or similar
  • procurement experience with a proven track record in contract negotiation
  • proficient in regional-level category strategy development, with adept Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) skills and experience in implementing effective supplier performance management strategies for optimal supplier cost, performance, and delivery
  • familiar with Ariba, financial systems, SAP ERP systems, and reporting solutions
  • thorough understanding of contract management and P2P best practices, policies, and tools
  • exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
  • strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen awareness of multicultural dynamics
  • demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive action
  • fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is advantageous

Position

As a Mechanical Engineer will report to the Technology Center AH Engineering Director and you are responsible for the engineering design of either one or more of the above-mentioned disciplines.

As part of a matrix organisation, you will collaborate with a diverse group of seasoned engineers hailing from various disciplines: industrial, process, facility, and commissioning & qualification engineers. You will also be working alongside end-users, as well as with delivery colleagues who will provide support in the form of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Cost Controllers, Schedulers, and Estimators.

Collaborating with external design partners will be a key aspect of your role as you strive to achieve designs that are not only cost-effective but also align with our design intent. You will be tasked with overseeing interesting projects across a broad spectrum, adopting an end-to-end approach that encompasses front-end loading, execution, commissioning & qualification, handover, and post-handover activities.

You act as a subject matter expert (SME) in one or more of the disciplines in our capital investment projects. You build and maintain close collaborations with Global Engineering Solutions and end-user SME’s. You will develop and maintain relationships with design and construction partners. You will review designs from our design partners and ensure the designs meet the engineering and safety standards and follow the procedures, best practices and design guides. And of course, you will actively support standardization and fit-for-purpose principles.

 

Profile

  • degree in HVAC/Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering depending on profile requested
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and High-Tech Industries as a Design Engineer in capital projects in one or more of the disciplines mentioned above
  • familiarity with EudraLex Volume 4 Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines, EU GMP Annex 1, EHEDG, and ISPE guidelines
  • high-level insight into construction processes of pharmaceutical facilities and equipment integration in buildings
  • excellent English language skills, knowledge of Dutch and German preferred
  • willingness to travel in Europe for project assignments (20% minimum)

Our client develops and produces vaccines and pharmaceutical specialties for livestock, companion animals and fish. They have offices in more than 50 countries, 25 production sites and sell our products in over 150 markets and operate in a network of manufacturing sites and research and development facilities around the world. With more than 300 employees worldwide, the Global Engineering Solutions (GES) division is responsible for managing investment capital and designing and executing capital projects for their global organisation. GES is organized in a Technology organisation (responsible for the design of projects), a Delivery organisation (responsible for the realization of projects) and a Project and Business Support organisation. The Technology Center for their Animal Health organisation consists of approximately 20-25 employees and has its home base in Boxmeer, The Netherlands.

To strengthen their Technology Center, they have job opportunities under temporary contracts at their GES Technology Center for Animal Health (AH) in Boxmeer and are looking to hire (Senior) Specialists in Facility Engineering as per one or more disciplines in the following profiles:

  1. HVAC engineering design for air handling and control of cleanroom environments (all grades (A, B, C, D) and non-classified areas), including room decontamination systems

Maintenance Engineer

Positie

Als Maintenance Engineer zorg je voor een optimale beschikbaarheid van installaties, systemen en gebouwen. Dit gebeurt door het uitvoeren en verbeteren van preventief onderhoud, het uitvoeren van correctief onderhoud en het oplossen van problemen conform de GMP-richtlijnen. Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren en documenteren van het noodzakelijke onderhoud om een goede en veilige werking van de nutsvoorzieningen te garanderen. Het initiëren en doorvoeren van verbeteringen, zodat het gebruik van de installaties effectiever/gemakkelijker wordt gemaakt en het aantal storingen wordt verminderd, is ook onderdeel van het takenpakket. In deze functie rapporteer je aan de Sr. Utilities Manager van de afdeling E&M en werk je direct samen met de senior collega’s van de afdeling.

Je werkt samen met cross-functionele teams, waaronder Engineering, Productie en Kwaliteitscontrole, om nutsgerelateerde problemen aan te pakken. Je begeleidt en instrueert externe bedrijven bij onderhoud, storingen en kleinere projecten. De rapportage van uitgevoerde werkzaamheden doe je in Ultimo. Je initieert verbeteringen aan installaties en voert deze door. Je neemt deel aan projectgroepen rondom ontwerp, aanschaf en implementatie van nieuwe technische installaties. Uiteraard ben je verantwoordelijk voor het oplossen en documenteren van storingen, reparaties en aanpassingen, zodat installaties en systemen goed werken, processen veilig kunnen worden hervat en stagnatie tot een minimum wordt beperkt.

Profiel
  • afgeronde technische mbo-opleiding niveau 4: werktuigbouwkunde, elektrotechniek of gelijkwaardig;
  • bewezen ervaring met het werken met nutssystemen in een GMP-gereguleerde omgeving, bij voorkeur binnen de farmaceutische sector;
  • goed begrip van water voor injectie (WFI), gezuiverd water, schone stoom, HVAC-voorzieningen;
  • sterke technische vaardigheid met het vermogen om problemen met nutsvoorzieningen effectief op te sporen en op te lossen;
  • minimaal vijf jaar relevante werkervaring in het werkgebied nutsvoorzieningen;
  • ervaring hebt met het werken met (CMMS)Ultimo of SAP-vergelijkbare besturingssystemen;
  • goede schriftelijke en mondelinge vaardigheden in het Nederlands verplicht, Engels is een pre;
  • voldoende kennis van relevante regels en voorschriften om ervoor te zorgen dat het werk wordt uitgevoerd in overeenstemming met de toepasselijke wetten.
