Position

Reporting into the Product Support Lead, the Process Improvement Specialist will define and drive product and process improvements for drug substance manufacturing. This will be done by executing the continuous process validation plan for the defined products, and defining product related improvements, or process chemistry related improvements based on the data. The positions will also provide high-level investigational support to the IPT and collaborate with above site functions (LMS&T, LMTO, External Manufacturing, external clients) on investigation or improvement projects.

This concerns a temporary assignment filled on an interim or secondment basis.

 

Profile

  • master’s degree required (life science, biotechnology, engineering or another technical field preferred)
  • PhD or PDeng/EngD degree may be beneficial
  • a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in biologics or vaccine manufacturing and/or managing biotechnological development projects, gaining experience with project management
  • hands on experience with change management and Lean Six Sigma tools and a high standard for compliance and GMP
  • broad interest in Biotech (USP/cell culture, DSP/purification, analytical, regulatory, etc.) is preferred
  • eagerness to learn is a must
  • role is intended to be on-site for at least 3 days per week; flexibility can be discussed
  • excellent English communication skills (verbally and written); Dutch is highly preferred

Functie

Als Process Engineer vervul je een belangrijke rol binnen het projectteam, waarbij je je concentreert op het ontwerpen van het formulatieproces met single-use technologie. Met aanzienlijke expertise in steriele productieprocessen, inclusief specifieke ervaring in de ontwikkeling en bouw van steriele spuitvullijnen en de bijbehorende cleanroomomgevingen voor een nieuwe steriliteitsfaciliteit (NSFF), voeg je waarde toe aan het team.

Je fungeert als de kennisdrager en voorziet het projectteam van waardevol advies met betrekking tot de ontwikkeling van deze innovatieve productielijn. Dit advies baseer je op grondig onderzoek, dat je effectief deelt met het team. Daarnaast draag je de verantwoordelijkheid voor het goedkeuren en valideren van cruciale processen, inclusief het ontwerpen van het formulatieproces, en ben je betrokken bij het definiëren, specificeren en aanschaffen van nieuwe productieapparatuur. Jouw betrokkenheid is van essentieel belang voor het succes van het project.

Het gaat hier om een tijdelijke aanstelling die op basis detachering wordt ingevuld.

 

Profiel

  • afgeronde technische opleiding op hbo-niveau, bijvoorbeeld Bioprocestechnologie of Chemische Technologie;
  • ervaring in de farmaceutische industrie, of vergelijkbare, multidisciplinaire omgeving met kennis van microbiologie en steriele aseptische productieprocessen;
  • bekend met GMP-eisen, EHS-richtlijnen;
  • kennis van single-use en filtratie- en isolatortechnologie, evenals VHP-processen;
  • kennis van werken met hoog actieve componenten;
  • ervaring met het opstellen van URS en kwalificatiedocumenten voor een spuitenvullijn;
  • balans tussen ‘hands-on’-mentaliteit enerzijds en coördinatie, overzicht en communicatie anderzijds;
  • goede mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels.

Position

As Project Engineer you act as the subject matter expert and single point of contact on site for the implementation of the data management application GLIMS in the quality control laboratory of the Baarle-Nassau site. Position

As a Mechanical Engineer will report to the Technology Center AH Engineering Director and you are responsible for the engineering design of either one or more of the above-mentioned disciplines.

As part of a matrix organisation, you will collaborate with a diverse group of seasoned engineers hailing from various disciplines: industrial, process, facility, and commissioning & qualification engineers. You will also be working alongside end-users, as well as with delivery colleagues who will provide support in the form of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Cost Controllers, Schedulers, and Estimators.

Collaborating with external design partners will be a key aspect of your role as you strive to achieve designs that are not only cost-effective but also align with our design intent. You will be tasked with overseeing interesting projects across a broad spectrum, adopting an end-to-end approach that encompasses front-end loading, execution, commissioning & qualification, handover, and post-handover activities.

You act as a subject matter expert (SME) in one or more of the disciplines in our capital investment projects. You build and maintain close collaborations with Global Engineering Solutions and end-user SME’s. You will develop and maintain relationships with design and construction partners. You will review designs from our design partners and ensure the designs meet the engineering and safety standards and follow the procedures, best practices and design guides. And of course, you will actively support standardization and fit-for-purpose principles.

 

Profile

  • degree in HVAC/Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering depending on profile requested
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and High-Tech Industries as a Design Engineer in capital projects in one or more of the disciplines mentioned above
  • familiarity with EudraLex Volume 4 Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines, EU GMP Annex 1, EHEDG, and ISPE guidelines

Positie

Als Maintenance Engineer zorg je voor een optimale beschikbaarheid van installaties, systemen en gebouwen. Dit gebeurt door het uitvoeren en verbeteren van preventief onderhoud, het uitvoeren van correctief onderhoud en het oplossen van problemen conform de GMP-richtlijnen. Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren en documenteren van het noodzakelijke onderhoud om een goede en veilige werking van de nutsvoorzieningen te garanderen. Het initiëren en doorvoeren van verbeteringen, zodat het gebruik van de installaties effectiever/gemakkelijker wordt gemaakt en het aantal storingen wordt verminderd, is ook onderdeel van het takenpakket. In deze functie rapporteer je aan de Sr. Utilities Manager van de afdeling E&M en werk je direct samen met de senior collega’s van de afdeling.

Je werkt samen met cross-functionele teams, waaronder Engineering, Productie en Kwaliteitscontrole, om nutsgerelateerde problemen aan te pakken. Je begeleidt en instrueert externe bedrijven bij onderhoud, storingen en kleinere projecten. De rapportage van uitgevoerde werkzaamheden doe je in Ultimo. Je initieert verbeteringen aan installaties en voert deze door. Je neemt deel aan projectgroepen rondom ontwerp, aanschaf en implementatie van nieuwe technische installaties. Uiteraard ben je verantwoordelijk voor het oplossen en documenteren van storingen, reparaties en aanpassingen, zodat installaties en systemen goed werken, processen veilig kunnen worden hervat en stagnatie tot een minimum wordt beperkt.

Profiel
  • afgeronde technische mbo-opleiding niveau 4: werktuigbouwkunde, elektrotechniek of gelijkwaardig;
  • bewezen ervaring met het werken met nutssystemen in een GMP-gereguleerde omgeving, bij voorkeur binnen de farmaceutische sector;
  • goed begrip van water voor injectie (WFI), gezuiverd water, schone stoom, HVAC-voorzieningen;
  • sterke technische vaardigheid met het vermogen om problemen met nutsvoorzieningen effectief op te sporen en op te lossen;
  • minimaal vijf jaar relevante werkervaring in het werkgebied nutsvoorzieningen;
  • ervaring hebt met het werken met (CMMS)Ultimo of SAP-vergelijkbare besturingssystemen;
  • goede schriftelijke en mondelinge vaardigheden in het Nederlands verplicht, Engels is een pre;
