Tests and assessments

During an assessment we select the instruments that give the most detailed and accurate answers to specific question(s).

Instruments

One or more of the following tests can be used:

  • Capacity tests: Give insight into your ability to process information within a short space of time. These tests are completed at a computer. The tests can be focussed on either your numerical or language abilities, your spatial understanding, process thinking, or technical insight. The results give an indication of your overall cognitive capacity.
  • Personality Questionnaire: Usually our candidates complete this  questionnaire at home. The resulting profile will be discussed with you during the assessment day.
  • Role play: After being given time to prepare, you will be asked to act out a specific ‘role play’ with another individual. You can show ‘live’ how you deal with situations you are likely to encounter in the workplace. This may be a ‘management’ role play, a ‘commercial’ role play or a ‘cooperation’ role play.
  • In basket: A computer-based simulation, or in some cases, a task completed by hand with pen and paper. You will be asked to make business decisions that you are likely to  encounter in the workplace.
  • Interview: We will discuss all of the skills and characteristics required for the job in question. The results of the personality questionnaire often used as guide during this interview.

Dersk & Derks offers taylor-made solutions for all of your questions.
