Preparation
Assessment centres are used for both selection examinations, but also to employ tools to highlight areas in need of development in current staff.
An assessment takes approximately one working day. A more detailed description and explanation of the tests and questionnaires used during this day can be found here [link].
We are often asked which books we recommend to prepare for an assessment, but regrettably, many of the books available in Dutch, have not been translated into English. The books we list below are written from an American or English point of view, and although these books provide an opportunity to practice some of the tests and questionnaires, we would like to emphasise that there may be cultural differences between these texts and those found in written in Dutch.
